Print Workflow & Ordering Process

Print Workflow & Ordering Process

Carefully Prepared for Print

Before adding a new image to the website, I first create smaller test prints to evaluate color accuracy, contrast, brightness, and overall appearance on paper. Photos often look different on a screen than they do in print, so I fine-tune each image specifically for physical printing.

During editing, I use paper and color profiles to soft proof the images, allowing me to preview how the print will appear on the selected paper type and make adjustments where necessary. This helps ensure the final print looks as good as possible when displayed on a wall.

Professional Printing

All prints are produced at a professional print shop in the Netherlands that I’ve trusted for years. The prints are made on Fuji Maxima paper, chosen for its rich colors, detail, and overall print quality.

You can choose between:

  • Glossy - more vibrant colors and deeper contrast
  • Matte - a softer, glare-free finish

Ordering Process

Once you place an order, I personally review it and reach out if there are any questions or special requests before production begins.

Prints are produced in limited print runs several times per year rather than continuously. This allows me to personally oversee the process and maintain consistent quality across every order.

Custom requests are always welcome whenever possible, including specific sizes, finishes, signing requests, or personal messages.

Quality Check & Signing

Once the prints arrive from the lab, I carefully inspect every print individually for quality before shipping them out.

If requested, I can sign the print or include a personal message.

Packaging & Shipping

After inspection, I personally package every print in a protective shipping tube and ship it worldwide whenever possible.

Once shipped, you will receive a tracking code. Delivery times depend on the destination and local postal services, but usually range from a few days to a few weeks.

Custom Requests

If you have a specific print in mind that is not currently listed on the website, feel free to reach out through the contact form. You can refer to a specific scene, location, or moment from one of the films - including the photo shown at the end of a film. Custom sizes, finishes, and other adjustments are often possible as well.

If you have any questions about print quality, shipping, custom requests, or anything else, feel free to reach out through the contact form.
